چکیده

The boundary layer flow over a stretching/shrinking cylinder in hybrid nanofluid with the effects of suction, partial slip and convective condition is studied. Hybrid nanoparticles Al2O3 TiO2 water as based fluid are considered study. differential equations transformed to ordinary by employing similarity variables. numerical results obtained using bvp4c solver MATLAB software. influence volume fraction (Al2O3-TiO2 water-based fluid), curvature parameter, suction parameter Biot number on velocity profile, temperature skin friction coefficient heat transfer rate discussed. indicate that for shrinking surface case, dual solutions exist certain range parameter.

Boundary layer flow and heat transfer over a nonlinearly permeable stretching/shrinking sheet in a nanofluid

The steady boundary layer flow and heat transfer of a nanofluid past a nonlinearly permeable stretching/shrinking sheet is numerically studied. The governing partial differential equations are reduced into a system of ordinary differential equations using a similarity transformation, which are then solved numerically using a shooting method. The local Nusselt number and the local Sherwood numbe...

Boundary Layer Analysis and Heat Transfer of a Nanofluid

A theoretical model for nanofluid flow, including Brownian motion and thermophoresis, is developed and analysed. Standard boundary layer theory is used to evaluate the heat transfer coefficient near a flat surface. The model is almost identical to previous models for nanofluid flow which have predicted an increase in the heat transfer with increasing particle concentration. In contrast our work...
